Sheet Metal Stamping

Premium provide low cost and high speed sheet metal stamping processing which is a manufacturing process that can produce a high volume parts and components. Stamping are suitable for both short or long production runs, and be conducted with other sheet metal forming process, such as bending, punching, blanking and welding, and may consist of one or a series of specific processes or techniques.

Types of Our Sheet Metal Stamping Services

Types of Our Sheet Metal Stamping Services

Progressive die stamping

Progressive die stamping is suitable for large volumes of parts production with strict tolerances. This stamping method involves feeding a coil of metal through the stamping press that punches, bends, and shapes the parts synchronously.

Progressive die stamping is the ideal processing with complex geometry to meet:

  • Lower labor cost

  • Faster turnaround

  • Shorter run length

  • Higher repeatability

Transfer Die Stamping

Similar to progressive die stamping, but the part is separated and a strip of metal is fed into the first station of a mechanical transport system, the blank for the component is cut from the strip. The blank is then transferred mechanically through various forming stations until the part is finished.

Fine Blanking

Fine blanking/fine-edge blanking, is valuable for providing high accuracy and smooth edges, that is nearly impossible using a conventional metal cutting or punching process. Fine blanking can pierce very small holes, for which holes are very close to the edge of the part and close to other holes.

Short Run Stamping

The largest advantages of short run stamping is the quick turnaround times. Short run stamping is more cost efficient, as regards to smaller volume orders, minimal tooling expenses are needed. Premium also helps with the reduction of revisions and maintenance, which will save costs as well.
